live edge Ambrosia Maple coffee table for sale in Arden, NC
Up for sale is a beautiful live-edge coffee table, made from Ambrosia Maple, one of the most beautiful woods around. The table was lovingly handcrafted in Asheville, NC from a tree felled in the Cherokee national forest about 12 years ago. There were countless hours of hand work in crafting this one-of-a-kind piece, with all of the legs as well as the stretcher bar being made of Ambrosia Maple. The table is 45" long, approx 2" wide, and 18" tall. The legs and center stretcher bar are finished with multiple coats of glass polyurethane, while the top is finished in a ultra-durable 2 part epoxy finish that looks like it's a foot deep! There are 3 coats of this completely waterproof finish, it is thick and glossy. and looks like it has had liquid glass poured over it. It is a very heavy table, over 100 lbs, so local pick up only, though I would be willing to deliver it for a nominal fee within 200 miles if needed. It is located in Asheville, NC. A 5% discount will be given for cash payment when picked up.
