Position Overview:
Theprimary function of the job is to perform assembly, complex and repetitivewiring, and to produce complete sub-assemblies, and final assembly of controlequipment. Checks electrical / mechanical performance of completedassemblies.
Essential Functions:
Worksfrom drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information tocomplete assembly and wiring of control equipment.
Determinesnecessary parts and material, and prepares requisition to obtain parts and materialfrom stock.
Prepareswire for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals.
Laysout, assemblies, wires, adjusts, fits and modifies parts, components, andsub-assemblies to form completed control assembly.
Mayrequire lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement.
Checkselectrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensureconformance to Asheville Plant quality standards, and makes necessaryadjustments and alignment when required.
Executesengineering and customer changes and makes repairs as required.
Reportsirregularities or equipment malfunctions to coach.
Maintainsrecords as required.
Observesall safety and hygiene rules and regulations.
Maintainswork area in a neat and orderly manner.
Basic Qualifications
Highschool diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution
Mustbe legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
Norelocation is provided. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Arden, NCwill be considered for this position.
