Position Description:
The Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer support by answering phones and responding to emails.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls, responding emails Answering general questions, educating customer on planting processes and offer assistance in a courteous manner Taking orders over the phone, addressing customers' questions and trouble-shooting ordering or planting issues Identifying complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options for resolutions for customers Required Skills:
Must be able to multitask and proficient with computers (i.
e.
, swiftly navigate through Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and several websites using shortcut keys while speaking to customers on the phone).
Be comfortable repeating similar information to different customers throughout the day Effective communication skills--both written and verbal Fast-paced environment, must work with a sense of urgency and be willing to learn Must be a self-starter and able to complete tasks/deadlines without direct supervision Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma 1
years of experience in a call center environment or a customer service role with heavy telephone activity.
The ideal candidate will have general knowledge & experience with planting seeds and flower bulbs, as well as an interest in gardening.
Willing to learn planting processes to easily reiterate to customers if not proficient Preferred experience using Zendesk Working Conditions:
